About Celeste Smith
Celeste Smith always imagined herself becoming an elementary school teacher—until her second year of college, when a growing passion for anthropology changed her path. She completed her degree in Anthropology with a minor in French, never suspecting how deeply education would continue to shape her life.
While supporting her husband through medical school, Celeste and her family reached the stage of preparing their oldest child for school. Yet as she explored the available options, something felt off. Nothing quite fit.
That’s when it happened—the nudge.
A call to do something she hadn’t planned on doing: homeschooling.
Celeste understands the discomfort of that in-between space—the feeling of being called toward homeschooling while having no clear idea what comes next. In those early years, she asked questions, read countless books, sought community, and slowly built the homeschool life she felt God was leading her family to create.
Today, Celeste shares her passion for homeschooling with families who are standing at the very beginning of the journey. Through Celestial Homeschooling, she offers guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to help parents build strong foundations during those critical first years—so homeschooling can grow into a sustainable, life-giving lifestyle.
Her heart is to walk alongside families who feel the call and simply need a steady, guiding hand.
